Stage and Location Lighting, started by Rupert Murray and me in November 1978, with an office in my house and a store in my neighbours garage at the princely rent of £10 per week!

Project Dark Space 24 hour non-stop Festival. Our first official contract.

Also famous for an appearance by U2, watched by Paul McGuinness, who signed them shortly after.

I helped Christy Moore dig the lime-pit toilets! I’d forgotten my shovel, so he lent me his!
